My partner hates the song 'if you leave me now' by Chicago because an old girlfriend of his, sent it to him when he split up with her.(Nothing to do with me, honest). Do you have song like that?

Yes Black eyes Peas Where is the love me and my fella of 4 years broke up my choice but i felt guilty and this kept playing ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
I sent an ex 'Losing More Than I'll Ever Have' by Primal Scream after she dumped me.
I gave a copy of Suedehead by Morrissey to a girl after a one night stand who became a bit obsessive.
Sorry by Tracey Chapman, played to me every time he did the dirty on me, worked too about 4 times!!  Needless to say it was a very long time ago, older and wiser as they say!
Everytime I hear Lost Weekend or nBrand New Friend by Lloyd Cole & The Commotions, I think of two ex-girlfriends as when I split up with the 1st girl she kept my Easy Pieces album. I then re brought it and the same happened with the 2nd girl. So I have brought the album three times.
I can't think of a famous song like that, but when I was 19 or 20, a boyfriend wrote a song about me and I remember feeling quite embarrassed because it was really lovely. I didn't take very much notice at the time because I hadn't been seeing him long and didn't feel serious about him and although he was a lovely person, he scared me off because he was so serious about me. Years afterwards though, I wished he'd recorded it for me because it made me feel really special - and he was a good singer too!
Oh, and several friends who weren't even into Stiff Little Fingers have asked me to give them a copy of 'I Don't Like You' by them whenever they've had a rotten boyfriend, etc. If someone really winds you up, that's a good one to sing along to. I used to sing it to Maggie Thatcher, although unfortunately she never heard me!

"Pretty Hate Machine" by Nine Inch Nails, which reminds me of The One who cheated on me and utterly broke my heart. Then I listen to the Cd "The Good Will Out" by Embrace and can oddly see things from his point of view.

He's still a cheating ratbag, though....
