Next door but one are having some work done but they decided for the second week in a row to get the hammers out at 8.30. I've been up since 7.30 but a little while of peace and quiet on a Saturday morning would be nice. Especially when I feel like I might have yet another migraine coming on.
Nope, not over grumpy at all.
I always thought it was 9am through the week and 10am on a Sunday.
My neighbour had cavity wall insulation done a couple of weeks ago, guy started at 8.
The house was shaking, so were my teeth.
But it's also a day off for lots of people. I don't do lie ins, 7.30 is my lot normally and I'm happy with that but I do enjoy a couple of hours of quiet relaxing. It's normally my favourite time of the week.
Not sure the drill will cut it, I'm off to HSS for something more powerful :)
What is the point of leaf blowers? Never got that.
Should be in France. It's universal that nobody can do any kind of such work on Sundays and some local authorities ban it on Saturdays too. When I was in Dublin, I asked a cabbie to take me to a department store on Saturday morning. He said "It'll be shut". I queried this and he said "What Dubliner is going to be up and about at 10 after a Friday night?" That's the attitude; nobody move before 11 at least!
