so in the 80's there were a number of music videos that people still remember when they here a song, Thriller - Michael Jackson, Robert Palmer - Adicted to love, Take on me - Aha.

What other iconic videos are thre and what videos of today or even the 90's would really be remembered??

I guess when the music isnt as good as the video it becomes less iconic. That running machine one is brill. But if someone said to me the video with the running machine, I would never be able to name the song.

I think that's just because it's newer. I would know it but if you asked a lot of people my age about Sledgehammer or Robert Palmer they wouldn't have scooby what you're on about! :)

it is but I mean videos that will be rememberd in years to come and if you explained the vid people would know what the song was. I remember britney and beyonce I'm not that old, but I remember them because they are iconic videos

I know things like OK Go! and various others will be remembered by my generation. This is something people will never agree on I suppose. What is iconic to some may be totally unmemorable for others. If I said Coffee and TV milk cartons to you what would you say? ;)
