so in the 80's there were a number of music videos that people still remember when they here a song, Thriller - Michael Jackson, Robert Palmer - Adicted to love, Take on me - Aha.

What other iconic videos are thre and what videos of today or even the 90's would really be remembered??

Need the band from early 80s who sang these lyrics, I think the song was called "Dry spell"..

yes they are but they are just not memorable. if there were a group of you going to a fancy dress say all men dressed as women in nighties one with a tash and a hoover you would know its was queen - I want to break free. I cant think of many fancy dress you could do for music nowadays. Maybe Britney - Hit me baby one more time

Jackie Wilson's "Reet Petite" always sticks in my mind for some reason.....
I suppose the charachters in the video were quite clever at the time....

yep always remember reet petite. Its just strange how so many music channels nowadays but I oudnt know half the videos that are in the charts at the moment

Suppose it's because music videos were still a fairly new thing then, and they stick in our minds......
They're so commonplace now that we don't really remember them.....
