Opera Expressions

Can anyone help - there seems to be an expression which sounds like "toy toy toy" which is used at the end of opera interviews. This is probably not the correct spelling but I have googled variations and just can't find it. Any help appreciated.

well i thought i knew something about opera, but confess i hadn't heard that, a sort of ward off evil spirits, or like in the theatre, break a leg.
