How many kisses do your sweet lips posses,
how many roads will lead us to happiness,
I don't know, I don't know, I don't know, I just don't know, but we could learn together,
how many thrills are there in your sweet embrace,
how many tomorrows are we ready to face,
I don't know, I don't know, I don't know, but we could learn together,
darling we got a chance to find out what the future has in store, we're young and so much in love what are we wating for...

I notice you've had no answers on yahoo or on here so I've had a look.
I've tried Googling different bits of the lyrics but found nothing.
(By the way when searching it should be POSSESS- Posses are gangs)

What genre is it? Country?

You seem to know the lyrics very well- have you got the song itself?

Thanks factor30 and sorry for the spelling mistake!
Yes I have the song on tape, it sounds kind of northern soul I think, It is great.
I have several northern soul compilations so I'll have a look.
Coincidentally the first song that sprang to mind was a Northern Soul one- it was Ralph Carter (young male, sounded like a female) - "when you're young and in love"- but I checked the lyrics and they were mothing like yours.
Maybe it was another of his- or is it definitely a woman?

Thanks again factor30, if your into northern soul you must know a good tune or two!
If I can i will go down the heart foundation and get a cheapo tape to tape machine and burn you a copy, only onto another tape though.
I would love to send it to anyone who might be interested, but obviously the quality won't be great.thanks for the Ralph Carter suggestion I'll check it out.
Yes it is definately female, no doubt at all.
I taped it off the radio when a radio 1 big name was doing a gig at the Concorde in Brighton. He also mentions Giles Patterson being on the 1's and 2's, ie DJ ing.
