Just been faffing about the DAB stations and caught the end of one track, but the DJ didn't enunciate properly and the band name sounded like bobby bare or bobby vare and the track title sounded like the wash or summat similar...I didn't know which station I was listening to either....anyone help with this obscure info? Hi Woodelf - I can't help with your problem, but Scotman was looking for you earlier.

This must be serendipity. Unfortunately I can't help with your query but I had got to thinking about your previous posting on Elbow.
Did you ever contact them about the visibility of their website to visually impaired people? If you did what happened?

Hi Karen and I hope you're feeling well and thanks for the nod about Scotman...but here he/she is....Hi Scotman and the anser to your question is no, I am still waiting to hear from those responsible for the site...it will either get done without reply or not get done at all!
Thanks for the update. I shall keep an eye on the site to see if any change occurs.

and I'll send 'em another email, just in case they've forgotten or my first got lost in transportation!...smile...in fact, I hadn't bothered to look at the site since and was wondering how Trim was getting on with some chords, but I'll definitely give 'em another nudge.
What type of music was it, Woodelf?

If it was country, it was almost certainly Bobby Bare but, unfortunately, I can't find that particular track.

Hi Chris, I know the Bobby Bare you're on about and it aint him. This was a band...a hairy lot the DJ said....but ZZ Top it wasn't, I can assure you of that. They used high pitched voices in the son, but not falsetto as such and the song had a kind of laid back feel about it and a kind of Steve Reich-type piano running through the song...I know that's probably no use either and I wish I knew which station I was listening to, cos I would have then contacted them...it's flippin' frustratin' when you hear summat and don't know what it is!
