Arabian Music

I'd like to give tasteful arabian music a try. Something like the Cheb Mami's background in Sting's Desert Rose. Any Suggestions?

They're not of Arab origin at all, but Porcupine Tree's bass player Colin Edwin has a band called Thee Wiseheads who do very melodic ambient stuff based on Arabic music. You can find details through the Porcupine Tree site.
