Ee oop, lads.

Just to prove to thee all that ah does travel oop north sometimes ...

During the week, we got the train to St Albans, and went to see Chantel McGregor in a place up there called Harpenden. A phenomenal blues rock guitarist.

Then, last night, we saw Rosie Lowe and her band at the Green Door Store, just up the road here. Some seriously good electro R&B.

Which gives me a dilemma. Which of two great gigs is Gig Of The Week?

If only because it was the first ever gig in their current format, I'm going to say ... Rosie Lowe ...

... so that, when she's a megastar, you can all remember ... JJ saw her first ever gig.

OOP ere int north my gig of the week was Bella Hardy, who looks and sings like an angel. Followed it up by seeing Mark Steel who's a fine comedian.

Isn't it Goth Weekend this weekend, Mrs O ?
Question Author
Horsham is quite a long way up from here. I mean, you wouldn't want to walk it carrying shopping.
Forget carrying the shopping, jogger. St. Albans is 'way down south' to me and I'm a Yorkshire lass. It's next door to London isn't it? (Hate to think what the Northumbrians and Scots will ripost if they read this!)
It might be Goth weekend in Whitby - is that where you are Mrs.O?
St Albans 1, somewhere near France isn't it.
