Hi everyone. I’d really like to gather some photos of Liverpool nightclubs from the 1970’s. If you have any, I’d be very grateful for a copy. I’m particularly interested in the Babalou, Victoriana, Beachcomber, Drift Inn, Oddspot, Nightsbridge, Top Rank, Mari Gras, Wooky Hollow, Shakespeare and Ugly's.

One of the best late night drinking clubs was the Night Owl which I queued up a few times at 2 in t morning to get in.
The Beachcomber only admitted members soyou had to be in with the in crowd.
The Flintlock was good on a wednesday.
The Banyan Tree under the Adelphi was OK, so was the Maggie May.
The Hope Hall was good others I can remember:
St. Johns in Bootle, St. Lukes in Bootle, Toad Hall, Sands in Ainsdale,
The Wispa was grab a Granny on a Thursday, as was the Grafton
Rumblin Tum, Mardis Gras with Jim Ireland and his mob.
Tony Buck was a famous doorman.
Vicoriana didn't last long.
But the bsest club was the She, a class all of it's own.
Drinks at the Captain's Cabin first was a must.
