besotted and in love with Neil Diamond -the man is a genius !!
He is playing Hampden in Glasgow and I have tried and tried and used bribing tactics but no-one will go with me- they are the losers -closest i got was Snappy cos he rates him highly as well-but its its mid-week.

Anyway -he delivered on his audience with and sang 'Sweet Caroline' -woop do doo !!!!

How sad am I or crucially how good is my taste -woot woo!!!!

I love neil diamond too, he has written such great songs for other people as well, my fave song is "forever in blue jeans" I like to play it on the guitar!

Hi Dris, I really like the man, love his early stuff, "Tap root manuscript" was a superb album, been listening to him along with that other genius, leonard chen since the 60s, how sad is that?

Hey -he is so humble when he speaks then when he starts singing he is transformed.
I didnt realise how much of a genuis -Red Red Wine -I had no idea and theres loads more.

I have Sweet Caroline in my funeral details -way to go -woop de woop !!!! I sing it everywhere -we were in Mussellbugh (o/s Edinburgh) Fri night (Horse racing brill)and there was a karaoke and i got it for my swan song but there was a stagger or just blokes for the horse racing like me and they came up with me-it was brilliiant -hands holding hands -reaching out -yip they were the best backing singers yet lol !!!

O man -I such a rock chick if that exists mow -been to see The Ramones when they were alive -name them i've been ther seriously -Bruce twice -doss !!

Flew to Dublin last year -to see Aerosmith cos they were my ultimate band to see before I died -they wrre sh!te -Chris Cornell was brilliant and he was the support !!

So after that -I HAVE to see Neil -he rocks !!!

I've seen him live once, at a stately home - one of those open air garden concerts. I didn't stop dancing all night. He was brilliant.

Just noticed you mentioned Sweet Caroline. I ran to the grassed area in front of the stage and bopped away to my heart's content.

His new song 'Pretty Amazing Grace' is fab too.
