Whist planning a visit to Slane (music festival in Ireland) a friend and I wondered what the ultimate 6 band/artist line-up would be. Pick from band/artist (alive or dead). Mine (INPO) would be Talking Heads, James, Bon Jovi, Lynyrd Skynyrd, REM, Guns 'n' Roses. Not my fav 6 bands of all time, but the best open air line-up.

Based on previous festival appearances that have been generally viewed as 'classic', how about Pulp (Glasto 96), Radiohead (Glasto circa 99 or 00), Orbital (Glasto circa 94), Hendrix (Woodstock 69), Oasis (Glasto 94 - NOT their headlining appearance a few years later) and Nirvana (Reading circa 92)?
Talking Heads, James Brown, Fatboy Slim, Utah Saints, Beth Orton, Arthur Lee.
Dave Matthews Band
