hi, i was driving yesterday and i came to a junction where i took a right turn, upon turning i had done a slight wheelspin and then i drove off...then two police officers literally appeared out of nowhere and stopped me. now i hav a ford fiesta 1.25, 1998 model, i have hardly any power in the car to be honest...and i have been cautioned with driving without due care and attention, a producer for my MOT and insurance...and possibly conviction. what i want to knw is how likely is it that i will be prosecuted, and what will the punishment be. thank you for uyour time.

Quite likely.

Probable sentence is 3 points and a fine of one week's net income, plus costs (about 45) and a Victim Surcharge (15).
Sorry, I dont see the correlation between driving without due care and attention and the engine size or age of your vehicle?
If you received a caution and were not told you would be reported for driving without due care then it will go no further. Did you hit anyone or anything?. It is not an offence to wheel spin.
Aggressive wheel spinning could you render you not in full control of the vehicle.....thats an offence.
