i have an 11yo swiftie in the house so very unfortunately know far more about her than i'd like to.

she is pro-gay (including in her songs) anti-trump and made some political statement about a republican candidate in her state i think,who was campaigning on an anti-abortion, anti-gay ticket and who then won.  She has come out against trump in the past too.

and that's what's happening in reverse for TS - there are people tying to make her career over  because she dares to have an opinion against the right.  In all honesty, i like my peformers to be silent on social issues (thin how annoying bono or chris martin are)
