Melissa Whitchurch, one of the parents in the story of having to live on 74 pence, lost her job 11 years ago due to ill health. But I see she has a 5 year old daughter.

My question is which is harder? Going to work or looking after a kid???
If she is much better, why cannot she get a job?????

It would depend on the graft and the individual embarking on it.

Which story please?
Melissa, who is signed off work due to mobility problems.

It is a joke, she had no problems mobilising her legs to get a kid.

I just despair at these scroungers.
Depends on the job and depends on the child.

SK...people with disabilities do have sex you know!
Yes ummm , but why expect others to pay for them.
That one I can't answer.

Sorry forgot the link, but I see it has been supplied.
Some people like this one really get my goat.

Pair of scroungers imho
I was only trying to help, shaz!

;-)
Perhaps her pregnancy was unplanned or resulted in a failure of contraception Sparklykid, she would then be left with the choice of having her baby or aborting her baby, that can happen to anyone, nothing to say she planned for anyone else to pay for her child.
Disabled people can also work! No reason why she could not get a job in a call centre or doing something less active and leave her partner, unemployed due to 'mental issues' to look after the child.
hmm, it's a tough question. Both are hard but in different ways
Well she got paid for that storey so she should be ok now.
What? About £250
No doubt she will keep banging sprogs out, better than working I suppose. What does her partner do ?

No problem Zacs!

I would have loved to have stayed home to look after my boys, but I was back at work as soon as my maternity was up. I certainly did not expect any hangouts from the government.
Also, would the child not be getting free school meals?
