I have a corolla from new with 35,500mls on the clock 06 reg and after going round a round about the front wheel squeels like hell on the straight before the round about its ok , now a quick look at the brake pads they were roughly 60% down so with an MOT in the next 8 weeks i had the pads changed but the squeel has continued i am not a mechanic but i am suspicious wether it is a wheel bearing gone west :( any suggestions would be appreciated thanxs

At that mileage unlikely to be wheel bearing and if it was on the way out it would tend to squeal all the time, especially on cornering.

You say the front pads were replaced? At the time were the calipers brushed out and cleaned of old brake dust and were the anti squeal shims cleaned and replaced correctly? Also, look for any small stones trapped between brake disc and anti splash shield. A dab of Brake grease between back of Pads and Shims can help as well.
bearings dont usually squeal....Sounds really daft, but have you checked the rears? some pads have wear indicators that cause a squeal and very often it sounds like the squeal is coming from the front.(thats assuming it has pads on the rear)
A wheel bearing on the front 'could' cause a brake pad squeak, as the wheel rocks slightly, and the pad rubs. Not usual at that mileage though.
Another possibility is the CV boot/rubber squeaking. Spray both with some WD40 or rubber lubricant and test.

yes it does have pads at the rear it is the SR model
worth a look, im not sure about Toyotas but some vehicles have a wear indicator so when the pads get low it touches the disc and squeals !! very misleading if you have never come across it before.
