can i put my husband's new car on my insurance? i already have a car and he is on my insurance to drive it. so, is it possible for me to have 2 cars in my name in effect with him on as a second driver in both cases? we have thought about doing this as his no claims his very poor compared to mine.

I think you can do it, but they'll charge you at the rate your partner would be charged, because he thought to be more of a risk.........so I don't think it'll benefit you, best to get some quotes really!..................
I think you are supposed to insure the main driver. So if your husband is the main driver then he should on the policy as such. Also your husband will not gain any no claims bonus being a named driver on your policy.... (I think)
You can get two-car policies for two drivers from some companies.
Who will be the main driver of the second car?
if your husband then no its against the law.
playing a dangerous game, seen a few claims thrown out whereby the so called named driver was actually the main driver, got caught out as the claim form details didnt match the proposal details.......
