Called the guy last night and said that, since the car is running/drivable (after it sitting idle for two years), we should "split the difference" between the 60 he was offering and the 100 the wife wants to buy wooden flooring.....and then i used the 3/4 of a tank of petrol as the clincher.....he is going to think about the 80 and get back to me. If he decides not to go up that far, then I will sell it for 60 and drain the tank, leaving only enough for him to get home.

Thanks for the interest anyway........you wouldn't be looking for a "wee runaround" would you?

Na. Have enough trouble with the one I've got!

Well, if you change your mind, there is a wee Micra sitting here for you.

You will be happy to know that the Micra has now been sold with the petrol as the lassie that bought it was a bit of a honey and we have just "done up" the bedrooms and we need a new bed.
