Do any of you out there check your receipts when you have been shopping, especially for food.... I dont, but lately glad I did, I forget, but on clearing out my bad recently, I found one receipt for Sainsburys - upon looking through it before throwing it away I found several items on there I had not bought ! £7 worth....the receipt was dated over a week ago, but I took the receipt back and Sainsburys were very good about it and refunded me the money without question, this has happened on more than one occasion too, just goes to show how many mistakes are made without us realising....

yes
I never used to and then noticed Tesco were charging me stuff I had'nt got. So I always check now.
I do a rough tally up as I place items on conveyor, so am quick to spot if an item has gone through twice etc. then just trot off to service desk rather than holding up queue.
I always check mine, and I like to see my savings
I always check.
I Always,always,always,always check the receipt.
Supermarkets are the worse ones for mistakes. I think it is done on purpose, not many people do check and thats where they make their profits!
Yes
Excuse me, while I just pop off to sainsbury's......................
I did it for the first time at Tescos last week - and found an item scanned twice. I had no problems getting the refund, but I'll check my bills as a matter of course in future.
Our corner shop took £400 out instead of £40. He didn't notice until he got his bank statement.
I never check my receipt or my change.
