Dip/full beam switch on the lighting stalk gone defective perhaps ? Or maybe the relay to switch between dipped and high beam has failed.

Most likely the relay which switches between dipped and full beam has failed or possibly the switch on the lighting stalk.

Have you tried flashing your headlights?

All wires on bulbs/earth leads okay?  Side lights should use different circuit.

If the flash works but still no dip/normal beam then it could be the dim/dip relay.  Look in owners manual and find location.  Normally next to main fuse box but could be under bonnet.  Remove relay and reseat and see if it works.  If not it might be faulty.
