We were told to expect some snow, but this is ridiculous! We had more the last month in one day, with the resulting chaos because the authorities were unprepared as usual. result? Gridlock on many major roads.
The snow is still lying about looking malignant, so more fun and games today I expect!

Morning DF and MOUCHA. The snow won't last long this time and it will soon be spring. We are over halfway through February, so it can't be long!

Just been watching the news on bbc and some chap has just been and invested in some snow tyres for his motor. Me thinks it won't be long before he has to change them back again. Bet he wishes he had done that last month.

Some people take too much care, That is part of the cause of the chaos. Yesterday, early while it was snowing, there was a little bit lying around but nothing to worry about. A lady in a micra was in the middle of the road doing 15MPH with a huge tailback behind her and wouldn't either move over or get going.

She probably would have done better to get out of first gear! Her type gives we women drivers a bad name wbm. I have a powerful estate car but I can still park it in a space most females couldn't get a smart car into, and still leave room to open the tail gate!

the lane looks clear , the gritter must have been down and the pavements don't look to bad. small mount on the cars nothing to worry about.

Good for you M. There are some excellent woman drivers but there are a lot of motorists, of both sexes!

We have about six inches of snow here DF, it froze during the night, but I think it is warming up a bit now.

I remember Sheila van Damm the rally driver saying there were just 2 types of women drivers - either b good or b awful. I have always tried to be the first type.

Crikey - just saw the weather forecast - you did catch it yesterday right across the Bristol Channel. Hopefully that will clear this morning.

I certainly hope so M. It severely curtailed my plans yesterday. I hope to get it done today.
