I need to order some snow chains.. and need to know what size tyres I have.
This is probably a really stupid question.. but where do I look?
Will the actual tyre have it written on there???
Its an Audi TT and only 2 years old...

Thanks chaps!
This is not supposed to be a stupid question, but why do you need chains? As the TT is a sports car with not a lot of clearence between the wheel and wheel arch, I think you will struggle to get them on. Snow tyres might be a better option if you really need them. I had to put chains on my truck once. I know its bigger and the chains are heavier, but it isn't easy...especially in the confined area of a car wheelarch.
If you need them for alpine driving this year enquire about tyre 'socks' they are great for cars without much clearance.
If preparing for next year there are some clever universal chains coming on the market https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_XNrV2gTUOM

maybe
Are you sure your TT is not a 4 wheel drive quattro. defeating any need for these chains! and consider the wheel arch space!
I think snow chains are illegal in the uk now
