diesel fuel filter transit

I have water in the fuel filter, so the warning light tells me, HOW DO YOU REMOVE THE FILTER AND DRAIN IT. The transit is a Y Reg 2001, 260

you shouldent have to remove it,there should be a drain plug on the botton,to drain water away.

Hi mate. It is a waste of time draining it, you are better off changing the filter. There are two way they come off.....
1, there is a clap at the top you unscrew, and the filter come's off. OR........................
2, You twist the whole filter to unscrew from is holder.
