Is a rubber hose okay for petrol?
I have been making do with reinforced polythene hose for connecting to the tank on my scooter, but this tends to get stiff and brittle over time. So now I'm looking for the proper stuff suitable for a petroil mixture.
It's an old scooter, so I can't get a factory part.

Thanks futura, I was concerned about the effect of oil on rubber. I seem to remember it sort of dissolved it.
But I think you're right.
