Yes, of course you can. It is your house and you decide who lives there. Your son is an adult and is not legally dependent on you.

yes legally. Also morally and ethically depending on his behaviour. As an adult child he has no entitlement to live in the home and you can change the locks. If he is abusive you can seek a barring order also
