Is it worth buying a power pack to start a car with a flat battery? If so, what pack would viewers recommend?

Annemollie is embarrassed about the syntax error and
has asked me to thank you. (Actually, I forgot to sign in under my own nom-de-plume when posting the question!)
Thanks, Zacmaster.
how often do you get a flat battery ?..better spending the money on a decent battery if you have starting issues.
With Chas on that one, if your battery is frequently flat the money would be better spent on having the charging system on your car inspected.
No it's not worth buying one, carrying one around with you will reduced your MPG.

The pack will have to be charged up itself to be any good.

Have your battery tested or get a new one.

Buy a normal battery charger much cheaper.

hello annemollie dont buy a cheap one as they dont last halfords have some good ones hope this helps from john
