How long does it take for a new V5 document to come through, I ve sold my car but cannot find my docs? Thanks in advance!

Pal of mine has just changed his car and been quoted 6-8 weeks for the new paperwork would you believe.

when i bought my new car it took two weeks to get my new v5 document regards john
