Hi, with respect to your question I had no problem helping people on this site regards car codes for all types of cars until some stealing ******* stole the one out of my wife's car, after a while helping A/B/ members I though about the amount of people coming on here not only the name of the radio but the serial Nos as well, as you can understand a thought came into my mind one of these "could" have been my wife's radio, although I have helped a few people on here with their codes I thought this had better stop because of what I have stated, Please do not take offence at my answer but I think you can understand why your request might not be helped. so you rather l pay 2.50 for the code and thats ok whether its stolen or not

Question Author
don,t judge everybody else by yourself
Question Author
perhaps you would like
the reg number
the vin number
the color
the mileage
what a sad state of affairs when a simple question will not be answered because you think the person asking is a thief.
Why don't you just pay 2.50 and save all the hassle?
that 2.50 to a car dealership does go some way towards paying to keep people employed.
asking the Ford staff to give you the code for free doesnt.

anyway, cant you understand the reasons TWR gave?
Question Author
not really ,the assumption being that if l don,t want / can,t pay oh it must be stolen
but if l pay for the code then thats ok it can,t be stolen.
Anyway paid 1.99 for code so now l am off to spend my ill gotten gains
on the other hand it now means l can listen to the radio on my 85 mile trip to work and then again on my 85 mile trip home after a 12 hour day .
THANKS FOR ALL YOUR HELP
I will end my reason I give you by asking you to RE-READ my answer I did not give you an unreasonable answer & neither did I give you Sarcasm, but if you are that hard up like a lot of us send my your address & I will gladly send you 2.50. this will end my reply to you boatowner.
the radio no you have given can easily be checked with ford to see if it is stolen,or has been reported stolen,i also used to give out codes, but checked one with my son who works for ford and it was stolen,so i also now do not give out the codes.
I am so glad that this is happening - I have posted many times asking people not to give radio codes for this very reason. A stolen radio without a code has no value until it has a code. If the code is too easy to find then there is no point in having the code in the first place. Ford will do a security check (and the theives do know this - which is why they try to find alternative ways to find a code)
There are too many instances of people coming on this site just to find a radio code then disappearing.

Thank you for helping to keep this site clean.
