Most policies allow the policyholder to drive cars not owned by them, but all youll have is Third Party cover usually. If you drove her car youd get the same, in most cases, even though youre Fully Comp.
I think you find the drive any other car part of the policy is meant to be for emergency use only, not for normal day to day use.
You will have to scrutinise your policy very carefully and if you are not sure, telephone the insurance company.

Years ago, most fuuly comp policies were 'any car, any driver' type - the person who was named on the policy could drive any car with the owner's permission and anyone could drive the insured car, although both these scenarios were covered third party only.

Recently there has been a clamp down - mainly to prevent fraud and many companies will charge a high premium for 'any driver' cover, or exclude it entirely.

Your insurance may allow you to drive another person's car because they will not pay out for any damage you do to that car, and your own car is safely parked up somewhere else. They'd have to pay third party claims, but that would be the same if you were driving your own vehicle and had the same accident.

Without looking at the policies I would guess that no, your girlfriend is not covered to drive your car.
I'd be very surprised if she was.

Dial Direct used to add a 'Drive Other Cars' extension to 3rd Party Policies as I used to pay a bit extra for this in my youth when I had a clapped out Metro but most 3rd Party /TPFT policies don't allow this.

Most driving other cars extensions on policies normally only apply if you have fully comp cover - obviously check the wording of each policy as different insurers give you different extras.
there's fair amount of complete rubbish above, read this thread for the last time this was discussed:

in essence Cover type/emergency is totally irrelevant.
