I came out of work today and my key fob wouldn't open my car. I opened it by the door lock but it wouldnt start at all. Any one had problem? I had to leave it at work and blag a lift home!

Battery flat in the remote unlock sender?

The car then wouldn't start as it was immobilised.

The AA / RAC get a lot of these.

I went home for spare key and it wouldn't work -hubby thought flat battery, but nothing worked even hazards.
hubby is mechanic unfortunately he was off to his shift half an hour before I left work so he will come and look at it tomorrow.

The battery in the car sounds totally dead, if even the hazards wouldn't work. Might need a new one.
