Hello,
Looked at buying a 2000 Rover 45 1.8 but noticed it has a lumpy idle. Sounds almost like its chasing but rev counter isn't bouncing. Engine shakes at idle but settles with a little throttle.
Car has 64995k and I've found out that Nationwide autocentre did cambelt at 63k and new headgasket at 64k. Noticed the coolant reservoir is a bit murky too. No emulsion though.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Any tips to look for if I view the car again, with the above in mind.

Thank you
