Some Help Please, Colour coding for radio wiring, ford fiesta lx. Thanks.

Ford Fiesta LX 1998 1297cc. The standard ford radio, Model 3000 Traffic. I want to change the radio, but can't find out the colour coding of the wires coming into the plugs, and don't really want to have to trace them.

You should be able to buy an adaptor from Halfords that converts the Ford plug in the wiring loom to that of an alternate radio. Did that on my own car no problem

Thought Halfords or Maplins, But the closest of either store is bout 40 miles away. If I could distinguish the wiring in place, I would solder and heat shrink the joins. Thanks anyway. I'll go for the drive and get the manual too.
