Hi

I used to be in the motor trade up to 3 years ago, and do not have access to blackbook any more. My eldest son is just about to change his car - and of course I want to make sure that he is not ripped off. (He has seen the car he wants at a rival dealership to one that I used to work at)

SO can somebody tell me....

Trade value of a fiesta 1.25 freestyle 2002 (02) good condition FSH 32k miles

Retail Value of a fiesta 1.4 zetec climate 2007 (07) 6k miles

What is a good finance base rate (flat rate) nowadays

I will be going with him to help him get a good deal and check the car over of course - but would like some ammunition for negotiations

TIA

Parkers were never that accurate in my experience - that is why I asked for somebody with access to CAP or glasses
Assuming they are both 5 doors....

1.25 - trade 2175 at 59k (so about +175 for mileage)

1.4 - retail 7850at 11k (so about +125 for mileage)

Glasses, Feb 08 edition

no idea about finance - I just write the cars off when someone plows them into a tree ; )
Sorry, just realised you had posted that they were 3 doors! Someone else has pinched the guide - I'll hunt it down and re-post asap
