My 1997 Fiesta's MOT is due on May 31st. I am hoping to give the car to my girlfriend before then so I can buy a new car. She has not yet passed her test, and privately, I'm not sure she is going to when she does it in April. So when I sign the car over to her, it is probably going to sit in her driveway for some time. What are the implications for the car's MOT?

You can MOT it in the month before its MOT is up, why not do that and you dont need to worry for a year then??
