noooooooooooooo just explain you lost your liscence you dont even have to tell them, just change the addrress with the right forms, come of it you have not commited an offence i only no as i did the same thing its nothing to worry about hope i have helped
Assuming this is a serious question, no you won't get any points, but you could be liable for a fine (although I have not heard of this myself - I think it would need to be an extreme situation for this to happen)

Send your licence back and update the address with the DVLA - I've only just sent mine back - I moved two years ago

thanks alot cos i have just been made redundent and want a driving job
As previously stated failure to notify the DVLA of a change of permanent address is a non-endorsable offence but one that can result in a maximum fine of 1000, or if it came to light during a roadside police check would most likely to be dealt with via 60 Fixed Penalty Notice.
whos to know when you moved.
the only crime here is taking so long to do your spare room up !!!
just send your D.L.. in with your new address and don't mention that there was a different one in between & you'll be ok
I bet you can't find anyone who has actually ben fined 1000 for this absolutely terrible offence.
i have recently been pulled over for speeding. my license was still in an address that i last lived at 15 yrs ago....... ive had 3 other addresses since then but i have just changed it with no problems! Well there was a slight problem... it was a pain in the arse having to sort out a photo and all the other stuff!!
