A friend passed his 125cc motobike test about three years ago, and I believe, by default, became elligible to ride larger bikes after a 2-year probationary period.

Someone has told me there's a deadline for converting his licence to the full bike licence, to be able to rider 500cc machines and above. Has he already passed the deadline?
