Hi, I have a Ford Fiesta 1.25 Zetec MK5 W reg and my heater is only blowing cold air. I have flushed the system and that hasn't worked. Also I have A/C so the heater matrix must be working as A/C uses the hot coolant to work. Also my heater control switch is very easy to move and has hardly any resistance at all, could this be an unattached heater control cable? What are the signs of an unattached heater control cable? Also the distribution flaps are working because I can hear them and feel them open when I move the knob to change the direction of the air. Can anyone please help I don't no what to do?

Remove the thermostat, they have a tendency to jam open. If it is jammed open your engine temperature will be low and there is likely to be a mayonnaise-type condensation beneath your oil filler cap. They are cheap and easy to replace.
Your heater control may be jammed "cold"
