Do you mean the Hella plugs?
Question Author
Careful! Could be 24 volt aswell.
Question Author
No the cigy lighter socket is 24volts this plug is only accessed by lifting a flap thats printed 12v is totaly differant from the normal plug. Ethel helped me once again its an Hella socket.
What I mean is don't make the mistake of thinking that a socket of that size is always 12v.

In an M.A.N you will find both 12 and 24 in that size of socket, and the covers that identify them break off easily

the hella plug like the cigerette lighter plug can be 12/24 volts it depends on the spec at the time of sale by the buyer of the vehicle
but some vehilces come with a 24 volt heavy duty cable and a hella plug for use with ovens/kettles mainly daf 95xf
