I think young men are the worst culprits. Wouldn't say that computer games had anything to do with it though!
I think the immature ones just like to show off to their mates, boast about speed etc.
Just my opinion!
I dont think computer games are to blame, did we have speeder's before computer games,of course we did !
Just sit in a Magistrates Court and watch the speeding cases, these are ones that are over and above the threshold for a fixed penalty. Of every 15-20 cases I bet you will only get the odd one or two female drivers. The age of the drivers can be anything from 17 to 70. One of the worse age groups is the 25 - 35 year old who have been driving for a few years. They buy a powerful car and think they are the best drivers and speed limits are there for everyone else not them.
In terms of collisions per mile driven men below the age of 20 are worse than women but in all the other age categories women have more prangs per mile.

And women over 70 are the worst of all
i am 21. i am a girl. i have 3 points on my licence, and probably 3 more soon (cos i think i got caught on tues). oh and i dont play computer games.

i dont always speed but i dont know why i speed. it can depend on how i feel, what music i'm listening to, or who i'm next to at the traffic lights to race off and show my car off (i have the new corsa).
i dont speed if i am driving with family, especially kids, or if the road is wet.

i am a sensible driver, i'm always aware of what is around me, whether or not i can change lane, sensible enough to know its safe to pull out, overtake etc. (but obviously not sensible enough to know not to speed). i cant help it. oh and i always wear my seatbelt.

i would also like the stress, i have never had an accident.
