Last Fiesta I had was - disconnect cable undo reverse switch with spanner and remove - fit new switch - tighten up and reconnect cable. Knowing Ford they have changed it since but this should be the normal way.

if its a new fiesta slightly different the car needs to bee in revers .dose it look like a square box if it dose undo the retaining bolt the switch is then held on with a ball type socket inside the gear box use a screw driver to bar it out and then just clip the new one in
