moped insurane pay monthly for under 18s?

just as the title suggests really! does anyone know a company that does moped insurance on a pay monthly for a 16yr old. havent found a company that will set up a monthly pymant scheme for him because of his age?

No but there shouldn't be a reason why you couldn't set the dd up in your name and he give you the money for it - that might work?

He's under 18 and a DD is a an agreement and he's deemed to be under age.

ive tried setting it up in my name...........im a little over 16!! but no joy with that either.

This is probably because paying on a monthly basis means setting up a contact to pay in this way - if anyone under 18 defaults then they are not USUALLY found liable for the balance - so most companies would not consider it - this is a massive oversimplification of contract law but it is basically the reason why.
