hi i have got a vauxhall vectra 1.8 16v auto s reg and it wont rev past 4.5 revs it is like it is reving in the red can anyone help thanks.

When will the car tax cost go down for smaller engine cars?

Hubcaps/wheeltrims why do they look like they are going backwars?

I did not think cars of that year were fitted with rev limiters but that's what it could be, did it used to rev over 4.5 revs? if so the rev limiter might be cutting in to early.

usually when i work on cars with similar probs to this its the mass air flow meter thats at fault. incorrect air intake reading.
