OK, I know I should probably check the documentation, but I haven't got it here.
My sister has just passed her test. She was insured whilst learning on my car. Will she still be insured now to drive normally?
Anyone with any experience of this? Or just a general answer?

She should be insured as a named driver - there's not normally a proviso but I'd call your insurance company and let them know she has passed - it may bring down the premium

policy runs out at end of month anyway. Didn't think it would be a problem. Seem to remember driving straight away when I passed without talking to insurance co.
I'm sure I did too - but that was nearly 20 years ago - Oh my God ! - And I've learnt that you can't trust anyone nowadays so it's always best to check - I'm sure you'll be OK though .
