Audi A4 indicator

I bought a s/h A4 a few months back. After a short while the nearside front indicator seemed to blow. I got a new bulb fitted and all was well for a few weeks.
Then the nearside indicator would only occasionally work, this went on for a couple of days. Now I am back to no front nearside indicator at all again.
It can't be the bulb so does anyone know what might be up?
Thanks.

Could be a bad connection. If you can see the indicator wires under the bonnet, make sure they are in place on the back of the indicator. You could tap the indicator with it switched on, not a long term repair but if it works you know you are in the right area.
Could be a "Duff" bulb!
Check the fusebox could be a dodgy fuse or maybe no fuse at all or possibly a makeshift fuse made by the previous owner if the car has been preowned.
