I sold my car a couple of months ago, so I'm now car less, what happens to my no claims??

when you buy a new car you tell the insurance company how much no claims you have and they will apply it to your new policy

I think that there is a limited time that they will do this for though. Not sure how long this is.

Your No-Claims bonus will be valid for 2 years from when your present insurance runs out, keep all the paperwork.
