I have been asked by a friend to ask the following question : Can you find out from Answerbank, whether I am likely to be able to get tree mulch/aphid droppings, that have formed on my car as black grime, without using t-cut and also if using t-cut is difficult..

any thoughts?

thanks

Might be a silly answer but have you tried soaking and washing using a good car washing detergent?

If you used Tcut it could scratch the whole car bodywork if the black grime cannot be removed first, it could have abrasive particles in it.

Have a look in Halfords for tar or bird dropping removers.
i find what works well is a fifty fifty mix of mer and t cut as tcut alone is diffucult to remove...... is the car mettalic by the way???
