Hi.I am thinking of changing my car and would prefer to buy a diesel to get better fuel economy.I have a Fiesta 1.6 Zetec S which costs me about 200 in road tax.My friend has a Clio DCI 1.5 which is 50 per year and uses about half the fuel. Can anyone give me an idea of which diesel hatchbacks I should be looking at? I do like the Clio but wondered if the DCI 100 or 80 would be the same tax band as the 65.Help...it's so confusing and the salesmen are too pushy...I have to do my homework before I look!! Thanks in advance.

my husband sells new renaults and he tells me the following : clio 1.5dci 68 ( was 65 ) and the 1.5dci 86 ( was 80 ) are both 50 per year to tax and the 1.5dci 106 ( was 100 ) is 110 to tax per year. and not because he sells clios, i highly recommend them.
