Ignition Barrel replaced - now electric windows don't work

Can anyone explain why my electric windows don't work now that I have had a new iginitian barrel replaced. It is a Vauxhall Astra Club - 1600 Y Reg. My radio didn't work either but this has now been re-wired so that it is on all the time - any suggestions?
prev wiring a sub and amp into your home
  
next stereo definately not faulty, whats wrong?
