I have just purchased a vauxhall corsa, p reg and the engine management light came on. it went out when I switched off the engine and restarted it. Any Ideas what could be wrong and should I be worried?

it could be a number of faults incl air mass meter which is common, take it to a garage who can plug in to the diagnostic system and tell u wat the prob is, it mite b a sporadic fault in which stallin the car can trigger the light to come on
