Renault Scenic

Have an R regd Scenic. Sometimes the plip key will not operate - no power. New Key and re -synched and battery checked at Main Dealer and all OK. Sometimes will not start and then it does but Radio needs re-setting and also clock! Have already checked and tightened Battery Secondary terminal under the bonnet ! Why does the power go off like that ? What is the cure ?

Have seen Touremans answer posted but Renaultforums do not seem to have any reply to this other than a lot of people complaining about their keys and immobilisers and the need to have them re coded. This is not the problem in this case as the keys have been done .
